How To Move iTunes Music From External Hard Drive To Another (for Windows)

If you are like me, I keep my iTunes music on an external hard drive. Recently, I bought a new external hard drive (1 TB) and wanted to move everything from my old external to the new one without losing playlist information (play count, lyrics, album artwork, etc.). I searched online and didn’t find anything except for using the iTunes consolidate function, which created unnecessary copies of my mp3s which I didn’t want to do. VLC player now fully compatible with 7

My favorite mass-formats video/music player just got better by being upgraded to full compatibility with Microsoft’s new Windows 7 Operating System. As an avid .flac, .mkv, and .ogg files, and Windows 7 Professional x86 user, I am glad to hear that a major upgrade was done concerning the low quality video output some windows 7 users were getting from the player running 7. Available for lots of operating systems, the player is free and the latest version can be downloaded here.
